Kāinga Haumaru supports people in recovery by providing sustainable housing, secure tenancies and aroha that says “you have a place in this world”.
Our Kāinga Haumaru team support people to find and keep the home of their choice we:
- Build and develop properties.
- Provide information on housing issues, tenants’ rights and landlord responsibilities.
- Provide advocacy and works with landlords on service user’s behalf.
- Help people build relationships with organisations that provide affordable housing.
Support is available to anyone using an Ember service and to the wider community.
