Ember – Korowai Takitini believes in providing innovative, person-centred solutions for people experiencing mental distress, people with addiction issues and people with intellectual disabilities.

Our 300+ talented and dedicated staff have helped to shape our kaupapa, including playing a major role in finding our name.

The name, Ember, signifies our determination to support those whose fire is burning low, never giving up hope that their flame can be rekindled until it glows warm and bright.

Our kaupapa, Korowai Takitini, meaning the cloak of many parts, was gifted to us by kaumatua John Marsden, to reflect the wrap-around nature of our services.
